Luminous Dreams in a Resounding Success-UWA Centenary Event

The Luminous Dreams project was developed by the Faculty of Architecture, Landscape and Visual Arts (UWA) and the Australian Urban Design Research Centre with the generous support of the City of Greater Geraldton.

The project is part of the UWA Gives Back Centenary celebrations in rural the regional areas of the state and was made possible with the assistance of the Geraldton Port Authority, CBH Group, and Yamaji Art.

A fictional narrative was created by Western Australian author and UWA graduate, Annabel Smith, as a guide for the film.  The film’s vision and sound were provided by artists Sohan Ariel Hayes and Cat Hope (both UWA alumni) with support from Mid West Artists Rose Holdaway and Anthea Da Silva in conjunction with Aspire UWA helped co-ordinate the students’ contributions including work from:

  • Mullewa District High School
  • Nagle Catholic College
  • Geraldton Senior College
