This painting is about the intergenerational trauma that the Aboriginal people have suffered since colonisation of Australia. The loss of land, culture & languages. The intergenerational trauma is now impacting the children & grandchildren of our surviving elders and will continue into the next generations in the future. This painting reflects the sorrow and sadness of our elders and what happened to them in their earlier life.
