Product Description
Djilba is a noongar season (August- September) which is usually when the boodja (Country) comes alive with lots of flowers. In Yamaji country where I currently live, there are special flowers called wreath flowers. This painting shows how they grow in circles.They are surrounded by everlasting flowers.
I have also used sand from my grandmothers country ‘Point Anne’ in Noongar country.
