Yamaji Art was a successful participant of the 2017 WA regional arts summit hosted by Country Arts WA. The project seen 9 Artists and their younger family members create a series of works called “Our stories in stitches”which were exhibited at the Mandurah preforming arts centre 13th-14th October 2017

The works included the artists telling their stories through weaving, collaging , broken emu egg shells, stitching , painting, wrapping, message sticks and felting
