Yamaji Art partnered with the State Library of WA and The Minderoo Foundation to be one of the art centres apart of “another view” of Sir John Forrest’s expedition from Geraldton to Adelaide.

Yamaji Art artists created an installation using 120 kg of Salt that had been poured on top of each other to form a mountain which then had an animated painting projected directly on top with a Narration from one of our Elders telling the story of John Forrest expedition throughout country. This installation has been on exhibit at the Tafe Central Gallery in Perth and Museum of Geraldton.
