Yamaji art are so proud to announce that after almost 3 years working with the mint that a limited edition coin has been released.

The coin is adorned with artwork by Christine Collard – Seven Jijas.The coin shares the sky story of the Nyarluwarri (seven sisters) which is a cluster of stars in the constellation Pledis.The story speaks of seven sisters who are pursed by a man. In order to escape, they all fly up into the night sky.The constellation is also used to help determine the weather patterns and hunting season each year. The coins release will be accompanied by a short 90 second film narrated by Charmaine Green.
