Product Description

I grew up in the bush near Mullewa where my mother is from. We went hunting for kangaroo, emu, goanna, bush turkey and picked Quondong, and Gargurla (bush pear).
My father is from Carnarvon. When we went to Carnarvon to visit my families, they went salt water hunting in the ocean. Part of their diet includes salt water foods – turtles, dugong and fish. Dugong and turtles have been traditional and cultural foods for many years. I never did eat the turtle or dugongs as I feel they are spiritual animals.
