Yamaji Art, along with several other key stakeholders and Aboriginal Tourism operators, traveled to Cairn in Queensland Australia to attend the national Australian Indigenous Tourism Conference (AITC).

The AITC was hosted by the Western Australian Indigenous Tourism Operators Council WAITOC). Themed ‘The Time is Now – Let’s Ignite’, the three day-long conference gave attendee’s  thought-provoking insights from tourism experts and industry leading organisations, both domestically and internationally.

The conference was a platform for Aboriginal tourism businesses to meet, learn from and forge new partnerships with wholesale and retail operators, including airlines, accommodation and media as well showcasing their product through a globally recognised tourism forum.
